Job Description / Responsibility
- Ensures that all purchasing is in compliance with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices and in accordance with Red Deer College standard practices.
- Keep close contact with production department and ensure optimum level of stock both in terms of raw and packaging materials.
- Analyzes current procurement activities and recommends improvement through more efficient procurement methods, quantity discounts, standardization, value analysis and cooperative purchasing.
- Interviews current suppliers to improve levels of service and new suppliers to develop and establish new sources of supply.
- Prepares reports to ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.
Educational Requirements
Minimum graduate in any discipline.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

- Analytical Skills – Collecting, comparing and relating data from different sources.
